BAUWERK Colour became aware of the environmental and health impact of common household paints and the fact that the paint industry is the second biggest polluter of the environment in Australia.
Over a period of four years BAUWERK develop a range of high quality, technically brilliant paints free from devastating polluting waste and harmful substances and introduced these paints successfully into the market.
BAUWERK Paint is produced by adhering consequently to the principles of sustainability in all product stages from raw material sourcing, processing, manufacture to distribution, application and disposal.
The paint is free from petrochemicals, creates no carbon debts or Volatile Organic Compounds and is sold at prices similar to that of common paints.
BAUWERK now supplies an estimated 60% share of the natural paint market, all backed up with exceptional customer service and free technical support, resulting in 70% of all customers returning for additional purchases within a two years period.
By providing a safe and affordable, visually dynamic paint product, BAUWERK changes the reliance on imported goods and products harmful to the environment. When replacing high gloss acrylic paint, every litre of BAUWERK Paint sold potentially reduces between 10 to 30 kg of non-degradable toxic waste.
